Local: Cheer on our local football team as the New Bern Bears Varsity Football team takes on the J.H. Rose Rampants in a Homecoming game, Friday 18 October! First, we’ll enjoy an optional pre-game dinner at Thirty Seventh Street Pizzaria before heading to the game. Dinner space is limited to 15 people so RSVP early! Game time is 7 PM and tickets may be purchased at the gate. Even if you can’t make dinner, join us in the stands for the game—and be sure to wear your New Bern spirit wear! We’ll be waving a Newcomers Club sign so you’ll be able to find us.
