At 6:00 sharp the party was well on it's way with friends exchanging greetings and discussing what has taken place in the last few weeks. There were several Alumni as well as Newcomers which allowed us to mingle with old friends. The Carolina Colours atmosphere was terrific with the whole place bright, friendly, and open.
The food, served by the Flame, was delicious with
- Teriyaki Chicken Kabobs with Pineapple and Peppers
- Sweet and Sour Tilapia
- Boneless Beef Short Ribs with Plum Glaze
- Green Beans with Caramelized Onions
- Roasted Red Potatoes
- Mini Glasses of Warm Cinnamon Apple Crisp and Vanilla Bean Custard
No one went away hungry or dry!
Tom's Tunes kept the foot work on the dance stage going at a pretty good pace with a few slow ones for us old retired folks to catch our breath.
