Summer can be a great time to volunteer as the need for help increases as people go on vacation. From walking rescue dogs waiting to be adopted at Craven-Pamlico Animal Services to sorting donated food at the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina there is something for everyone.
Last fall, the Newcomers Club website started Volunteer New Bern, an initiative designed to give our members as well as the general public easy access to the variety of service opportunities in and around New Bern.
