Our next monthly meeting  will be Thursday,  May 9, 2024. A speaker from NOAA will be our featured guest. He will be talking about hurricanes and hurricane preparedness.
Save the Date : Thanks to our Day Trips leader Andy Britton, the club is again organizing a visit to Kinston for a fun day of socializing, food and professional baseball, Sunday, June 16th, 2024, as part of the club’s Out of Town Day Trip for June!
May 2024 President’s Note/Bill Brettschneider Nearing the end of my year as president, it was been a rewarding journey – one highlighted by success and surprises, obstacles and opportunities. This past week afforded an unexpected window of reflection.
I just returned from the Newcomers extended day trip to Asheville and to Biltmore Estate, and I continue to be amazed by the beauty and variety found in North Carolina. We had a great time, made some new friends, and I highly recommend visiting the area if you have the chance.
