You can join the club now by following the prompts below.

You may pay dues via check or credit card using the online form below. If you wish to pay by check, use the button on right to view and print out a form to mail with your check.

You must be a paid member of the club to take part in club activities, though if your are interested in joining the club, you do not have to be a paid member to check out a monthly meeting.

To become a new member or to renew your membership dues, you may use the online form below to pay with a credit card. Please note that a $1.00 convenience fee will be assessed on all credit card transactions. If you have lived in New Bern more than a year and do not qualify to be a Newcomers Club member and would like to join the Newcomers' Alumni Club, please contact club founder Sandie Swigart by phone at (252)-633-4094 or by email at sandielees@hotmail.com

Newcomers Club meetings and activities are scheduled from September through June, although some groups meet all year. More specific information is included in the monthly newsletter which is available on the website.

Annual dues are $15.00 for singles and $30.00 for couples. The club’s membership year is July 1st through June 30 of the following year. Payments for renewals are due on July 1, but no later than October 1. Members are allowed to remain for three years as Newcomers and have the option to move to the Alumni Group to continue participating on any activities or social groups. The initial membership year of a member joining on or after April, is considered to begin on July 1 of that year.

This is to notify you as a member of the Newcomers Club of New Bern or the Alumni Group that, during Newcomer and Alumni Club activities, photographs of members may be taken and used by the Newcomers Club of New Bern or the Alumni Group, at their discretion without compensation to or approval by such members for Club-related purposes including, but not limited to, Club promotion, newsletter and other website content and contests.

Use of Personal Contact Information

The Newcomers Club will protect your privacy to the best of our ability. We will not share or sell your personal contact information, including name, address, telephone number and email address. This information will only be used in the conduct of club business and in the annual member directory, unless otherwise requested.
