Past  New Bern Newcomers Hiking group outing : Fort Macon State Park, June 1, 2024

The Newcomers  Hiking Group had a great time on Saturday, June 1, 2024,  at Fort Macon. We hiked the Elliot Coues Trail, and then had lunch at the Oceana Pier House in Atlantic Beach.  It was a wonderful day

A new hiking group is being started by member Joe Girandola.

You don’t have to be a long distance hiker. We will be planning short trips to nearby hiking trails with low to medium difficulty. We plan to meet approximately once per month depending on the weather and the desire of our members.

Join us as we explore local sites, get some. exercise, and meet and socialize with new friends.
