Book Club membership includes both Newcomers and Alumni.  Meetings are the 2^nd Wednesday of each month from 1-3 PM.  There are currently almost 40 members with 20+ usually attending each month.

As the number of attendees precludes holding meetings at various homes, the club meets at Red Sail Park in Fairfield Harbour.  Members are asked to RSVP via email a few days before the meeting so FFH’s Gate Security can be notified.

Note:  Red Sail Park is an open-sided outdoor shelter, as such,  members provide their own chairs and drinks/snacks if desired as well as dress for the weather.

Due to membership size, books are selected by committee from suggestions given by club members.  The books are apolitical under 400 pages in length.  Books have generally been published in the last 30 years. Recent lists have had a heavy slant towards literary fiction, although the occasional memoir and crime thriller (no cozy mysteries) do crop up.

Email meeting reminders/RSVPs are sent out the weekend before the meeting.  A follow-up email is sent shortly after the meeting as well.  Discussions are led by a volunteer moderator.
