South African Wine Dinner
Saturday, March 29, 2025, 6-9 p.m
5 Course Wine Dinner (Each course will be paired with a complimentary wine from South Africa)
- Course #1: Boerewors sausage with cucumber-zucchini salad
- Course #2: Chakalaka vegetable relish with cornbread
- Course #3: Cape Malay Chicken Curry with yellow rice
- Course #4: Bobotie with chutney
- Course #5: Malva pudding with sauce

Deadline is Monday, March 17. No refunds after that date.
Cost is $45 per person

Wine tasting and food pairings are made easier when attending a professionally planned event. Our group meets throughout the year to sample 4 to 6 wines, hosted in members’ homes, restaurants, and wine shops. All events involve the pairing of food with wine.

Interested members will be emailed details of a scheduled activity several weeks in advance. Simply respond to the email if you will be attending. If your plans change after indicating you will attend, please email the activity leader to inform them you will not attend. To be added to the group's email list, sign up at a general meeting or email the Activity Leader.
PREVIOUS TASTINGS EVENTS
A Luncheon with Wine Pairings at Cork Restaurant (319 Bern St.) on Friday, February 28, 2025. We enjoyed a three course meal presented by awarded Chef Mike Lynch. Wines were selected by Tastings Member Les Coble. There were two seatings. Each seating is limited to three tables of four individuals (total of 12 per seating).
March Event : Mexican Wine Tasting Dinner at a home in the Fairfield Harbour Area

Thursday, September 23, Tastings - a wine and food experience held a Meet and Greet at Red Sail Park. It was a fun time with new faces joining the group. Here is the cooperation to get the group to pose for a picture. We started out with asking individuals to go down the slide, but instead we gathered around the play area.
