How the Wine Socials work:
Remember to bring wine and a dish with appropriate serving utensils to share (appetizer or dessert) with your fellow Newcomer Members. Please recognize the hosts can only hold a limited number of guests, so be sure to RSVP to reserve your space. Once the RSVP cap is met, we will maintain a Wait List. This event is getting larger and larger each month so to meet the demand, we are prepared to
have a 2nd event to accommodate the interest in this activity, but without
another host home, we will not be able to achieve this. Please consider
being a host home, were happy to give you more details, see our contact
information below. Hosting is easy - just provide an indoor/outdoor space
and the host determines the number of guests, the wine social runs from 6-8
pm. The host provides paper products/cutlery, the club provides wine
glasses. This venue o&ers members time to mingle and socialize while
enjoying wine and dining on tasty treats. We would like to see our host
accommodate a minimum of 30 people and a max of 40. Currently we have a
few members who have already volunteered Hooray! Our goal is to line up all
the host homes for the season which runs from September – June.
To attend: interested members will be emailed details of a scheduled activity
a week or two in advance. Follow the directions in the email for RSVP
requirements.
Again, we look forward to food, friends, conversation and of course wine!
