Next club meeting : Thursday, April 11, 2024
Our featured speaker will be Suzanne Madison who will talk about Craven Community College’s Community Enrichment Program courses. These are short-term, non-credit, affordable day and evening classes for adults. It’s the fun stuff – from photography and boating to yoga , belly-dance or painting with oils/acrylics.
Intro to Newcomers 101
This year we have begun to offer a brief orientation session, “Intro to Newcomers 101,” at 6:30 p.m., on monthly meetings nights. This talk is open to all who recently joined and to those interested in joining. Our goal is to make it easy to take advantage of everything the club has to offer. When you arrive at the Harrison Center, tell the reception desk, “I am here for Newcomers 101” For additional tips on getting the most of your membership, visit our Newcomers 101 Cheat Sheet.
We hope to see you there!
The Newcomers Club of New Bern meeting begins at 7 p.m., April 11th, at the Harrison Center, 311 Middle Street, in historic downtown New Bern. The club holds monthly meetings on the second Thursday of the month except in July, August and December.
Doors typically open at 6:15 p.m. so members and visitors can have extra time to socialize and visit activity tables before the program commences.
The presentation will begin at 7:00 p.m. The club’s monthly meetings usually last about an hour and a half, wrapping up at about 8:30 p.m.
