A Themed Walking Tour in Pitt County Arboretum

Enjoy the beauty of spring with your fellow Day Trippers during a free guided walking tour within the Pitt County Arboretum. Matt Stevens, the Pitt County Extension Director and Horticulture Agent will conduct an hour-long Northside Plant Walk utilizing the arboretum and the Northside Walking Trail for a discussion of “Aromatic Additions for Your Landscape.”
After learning about a variety of plants that have excellent fragrances to stimulate your sense of smell, the rest of the afternoon is yours to explore as you would like—you may wish to stroll through one of the Arboretum’s many gardens
including a Wildflower Garden, Herb Garden, Butterfly Garden, or Walking Garden. If
you wish to participate in the tour, you must register at the link below.
Since the tour isn’t until noon, consider an optional breakfast meet up at Harvey's The
Breakfast Place at 10:00 am. It’s only an 8-minute drive from there to the Arboretum.
