Inaugural Newcomers Hike in April

The new Newcomers Hiking group’s  first  hike will be Saturday morning April  13, 2024,  at 10 a.m. at the Flanners beach off Route 70, east of New Bern.  Please email  Joe at jagir@optonline.net for more info.
A new hiking group is being started by member Joe Girandola.
All hikers are asked to meet Joe at the parking lot by the building that houses the restrooms at the park.

You don’t have to be a long distance hiker. We will be planning short trips to nearby hiking trails with low to medium difficulty. We plan to meet approximately once per month depending on the weather and the desire of our members.
Join us as we explore local sites, get some. exercise, and meet and socialize with new friends.
