Club President’s Message

Happy Summer to everyone!

As of July 1, 2022, the Newcomers Club of New Bern has a new Board.  I am happy to introduce you to your Board for the 2022-2023 year:

A huge thanks to each of the Board Members for their willingness to serve in these positions.  We are busy at work preparing for the upcoming year.

A FEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Membership dues for the 2022-2023 year were due July 1, 2022.  Dues are $15.00 per person. 

Many members have not yet paid their dues so I would ask that you do this as soon as possible to ensure you receive all Club and activities information and remain eligible to participate in everything our Club has to offer.

Newcomers Club Information/Welcome Event * August 23, 10 a.m. – noon

New Bern Craven County Public Library, 400 Johnson Street, New Bern

We need your help to spread the word to friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc.  This meeting is for anyone who has recently moved to New Bern* and is interested in getting more information about the Newcomers Club of New Bern.

*A newcomer is considered someone who has lived in New Bern for less than one year.

This meeting will provide information about the Club, our many activities, and events.

If you have a Facebook page for your development/neighborhood, please make a post with this information. Please help get the word out to anyone who might like more information on our Club.  This meeting IS NOT for current members (you already know how wonderful we are!)

Next General Meeting: 

Thursday, September 8 at 7:00 p.m.  Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
